Amanda Shipley

Pre-K Teacher

My name is Amanda Shipley.  I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.  This will be my 12th year teaching.  I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, and 2nd grade.  Pre-K is absolutely my favorite grade to teach!  I love having the privilege to be a child's first teacher to get them excited about school and learning!  I think providing them with these 2 things is the key to each child's future success all through school.  I am so excited to be back at Charter Oak this year!

I have been married to my husband Tyler for 16 years.  We have three wonderful children-our twins, Taylor and Caden are 12 years old and in 6th grade this year, and Colton is 11 and in 5th grade.  I love spending time with my family!  We love doing anything outdoors together, especially going to Bluejay football games on Friday nights!  My kids are involved in baseball, softball, and rodeo.  We spend the rest of our time involved in our church at Community Church.

I feel so blessed to be a Bluejay and a part of Charter Oak's amazing staff!  I'm looking forward to a great year!
