I Graduated from Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL. with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education. I then graduated from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX. With a master’s degree in Counselor Education. I am certified in Elementary Education, Special Education and School Counseling.

I have three adult children and 6 grandchildren. I enjoy books, art, antiques, and swimming.

My philosophy of education is that all children will learn when we meet them where they are.
