Hello, my name is Kristi Blakemore and I am going on my 12th year as a counselor at Guthrie High School. I am a counselor at GHS for sophomores and juniors M-Z. My family is amazing and a huge part of my life. My husband, Kyle, and I have two children, Braylon and Vivian and a dog named Russ. 

I have been a BLUEJAY my entire life! I grew up in Guthrie and graduated from GHS. I then went on to college at the University of Central Oklahoma and earned my Bachelor's in Journalism - Advertising. After college I worked at UCO as an academic adviser for the College of Fine Arts & Design and instructor for college success courses; success central and success strategies. During my seven years at UCO I completed my Master's in Guidance and Counseling and obtained my certification to teach Journalism, as well as my certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I recommend for all parents to check their parent portal regularly to stay up to date on your student's academic progress.
