Hello. I am currently in my 10th year of teaching. I have also served over 22 years in the US Army to include 4 years active duty as a paratrooper in the 82d Airborne. I left active duty and went into the National Guard to attend college at the University of Central Oklahoma. I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Arts in History Education and started my teaching career at Guthrie High School. I finished my Masters of Education program at the American Military University in 2022 and I am about halfway completed with a Masters of Special Education from Upper Iowa University. My career has taken me all over the globe to interact with different people and cultures and I enjoy sharing my experiences with your students. I am excited to be back at Guthrie High where I started my teaching career a decade ago. Since leaving the HS in 2019, I have been out of state, at GUES, and the JH. I feel my experiences have helped to better prepare me to make a positive impact and create positive outcomes for our young people here in Guthrie.
