My name is Casey Porter and I have been teaching and coaching at Guthrie High School since the 1996-1997 school year. I grew up in Stillwater, graduated from Oklahoma State University, and have taught Special Education for 18 years and am currently teaching U.S. History and A.P. U.S. History at Guthrie High School.
Coaching kids is a passion of mine and I currently am the Head High School baseball coach. Mass communications is also a love of mine, and I done a lot of work in radio and video for Guthrie and the NFHS. I am also a member of the Oklahoma City Dodgers ground crew.
As a parent myself, I feel that parent involvement is very important to a child's success, and that our goal is to provide each student with the skills he or she needs to be successful after graduation.
