WELCOME TO DRAMA!
In this class we will explore all the aspects of Drama. This includes building confidence, speaking in front of an audience, skits, debate, acting and more. This class teaches you how to become a leader, how to handle stressful situations, working in teams, voicing your opinions, and becoming an overall genuine human being. So many of the things that are taught in Drama are used in everyday life and these skills will guide you as you continue on your path. I urge you to step out of your comfort zone and come join us! Leave the drama at the door and come learn what it really means to be in DRAMA.
A little about me... I have a B.A in Communication from the University of Texas at Brownsville, now known as The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. This is my 9th year teaching but my first in Guthrie! My husband and I moved to Guthrie in 2016 and took a break from teaching to raise our 2 beautiful girls. They are full of energy and are always doing something. Currently, they both love soccer, softball, and Pokémon. We love Guthrie and are so happy to call it home.
