Bill Perring's Home Page

Mr. Perring is beginning his 29th year of teaching, 26 at Guthrie High School. In his time at Guthrie, the choir had grown from 25 students to over 100 in 6 different ensembles, including the award winning Concert Choir. Each year the choirs present at 5 concerts throughout the year with the highlight being the Annual Christmas Concert at the Scottish Rite Temple in Guthrie. Over the past several years, the choir had been chosen to sing for OkMEA three separate times, has sung with OSU, OC and USAO and have been awarded Sweepstakes trophies at OSSAA numerous times. Every spring, the vocal department presents musicals which have included Les Miserables, Will Roger Follies, Wizard of Oz and Kiss me Kate. Mr Perring also directs the Pied Pipers, a childrens musical and dramatic troupe and assists with the band. He is married to Sharon and they have four children and two grandchildren (thanks Amanda and Matt).
