My name is Billy Richardson. I am currently in my 19th year of teaching and my 13th year in Guthrie Public Schools. I have been married to my wife Katrina for 19 years and have two amazing daughters, Laina (12) and Ruby (10). I began my teaching career in Guthrie where I taught for 11 years before moving to teach in Iowa and Wisconsin for 6 years. I am now in my second year back in Guthrie and I am so happy to be a Bluejay again! Band is a course where students will continually learn the skills to be better individual musicians as well as how to be contributing member of a large ensemble. We also hope that students develop a love for making music along the way!
