Dear Parents,

Welcome to second grade!  I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your child this year.  I know that each of you may feel a little apprehension at leaving your child with a new teacher so please let me take a moment to tell you a little more about myself.  

I believe that each child deserves to be treated with love and respect. As your child's teacher I will work hard to address the individual needs of each student.  I do not play favorites, but I do try to make sure that each child gets what they need to help them be successful.

This is my fourteenth year teaching in Guthrie.  I hold a degree in Elementary Education and am state certified to teach in grades Pre-K through 8th. I also hold a certificate in School Administration.

I have been married to my husband Sean for 18 years.  Combined we have four children; Samantha, Sean, Shannon and Katelynn, all of whom we are very proud.  Our youngest is a Junior at GHS!  I have lived in Guthrie most of my life. Guthrie is a great community and I am so happy to be a part of it!
