First Sergeant Campbell
First Sergeant Campbell is the Army Instructor for JROTC. He is in his 8th year at GHS after serving 20 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of South Florida (2001). 1SG Campbell served as an ROTC Instructor at the University of Mississippi, Company First Sergeant at Fort Richardson, AK and as as Brigade Operations Sergeant at Fort Carson, Co prior to retiring from active duty in July of 2015.
1SG Campbell is married with one child. His hobbies are reading, physical fitness, cars, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. 1SG Campbell instructs classes in a LET levels (Freshman through Seniors). He also instructs classes on fitness, health, leadership and civics and coaches Raider / Physical Fitness (PT) team, Marksmanship team as well as the Drill and Color Guard Teams for JROTC.
Team practices: PT M-W-F at 0730, Drill and Color Guard are part of the competition class (7th hour).
